Probably. But if he resigned, we'd still have Dick Cheney.

If you could convince both to resign, we'd have Nancy Pelosi, the House Speaker, according the the order of succession to the Presidency.

I don't really see her as an upgrade.

Next is Robert Byrd. Then Condi Rice.

Really, who in the list would make a great president? Maybe, maybe there are people on the list who'd be able to solve whatever problems Bush has caused, but given the time it would take to get into office, get your bearing, get your cabinet, and get people going, it'd be election time before the new president knew it, and I doubt that they'd get a great deal done.

Seems to me, at this point, we're probably better off "staying the course" with this president and just pushing for change through continued pressure on the White House and continued legislative change...
