The douchebag who did the infamous defense-of-Britney video is poised to become rich and famous, apparently.
I'd read something somewhere recently (perhaps in Entertainment Weekly) about how Chris Crocker, the retch-inducing trainwreck who warned the world that anyone who wanted to mess with Britney had to go through him, had confessed that the video took a couple of takes and that it was a heart-felt piece of performance art, or whatever. He said that he was hoping to parlay it into something.
Apparently he has. And it goes down as further proof that as long as you're willing to look like a big enough a-hole, America will love you, embrace you, and pay you big money.
I'm sick of this place. As the old bumper sticker said, "Beam me up, Scotty, there's no intelligent life here."
