Paranoid Much?

Even as we seem to be many years beyond the Cold War and detente and mutual assured destruction and all of that, I still find myself saying "gotta love them Russkies."

While doing my twice-daily combing through fark.com, I came across a link to this article in Pravda, a Russian newspaper.

The article discusses how a meteorite that crashed in Peru was actually a downed US military satellite, which had been targetted on Iran, and which was downed by a faction of the US military.

I thought we were beyond this sort of strangeness in US-Soviet relations. Apparently, I was mistaken.
