My wife at 37 weeks.
Progress: Baby's dropping; 1.5 cm dilated; 50% effaced. All furniture is assembled, and the nursery's painted (except for some touch-ups I have to do this week).
Are we actually ready? No. But can you ever be?

Ah, yes, I remember those days - and look forward to them, too.
Very excited for you both! You are about to get on the wildest ride of your life. Don't worry - you can't fall off, either. They don't let you.
Can't wait to see pictures of the little one.
It will be an adventure. Sometimes a grand one, sometimes a gruesome one. But always an adventure...!
