I've been paying attention in bits and pieces to the recent flooding news in Houston. Seems the sewage system in town isn't able to keep up with the heavy rains that have fallen, and (in fact) continue to do so.
Over in New Orleans, the local paper is already on hurricane watch, and it's clear that we don't need another Katrina to do some major damage. And, while hurricanes may be a future threat, for now man is doing enough damage on his own.
I'm not one to claim that God is mad and trying to wipe New Orleans out, but, really, isn't it starting to look that way? Just ask Houston, which still has a remarkable number of New Orleans refugees.
Just a thought. Only half tongue-in-cheek...
